Rafael Guerra is a native Texan that specializes in representing buyers and sellers throughout the greater Houston area. He helped found Monark Realty with his wife, Anita and daughter, Kirsten and focuses on clients moving to the city from abroad.
Before moving to Houston, he attended university at the Tec de Monterrey in Mexico and Texas A&M University. Years of working in the energy industry have given Rafael excellent business skills in negotiations and sales. Having lived in Mexico for many years, he is fluent in Spanish and has a great understanding of the needs of clients relocating to other countries. Rafael prides himself on his attention to details and focuses on giving his clients the best service.
A long time resident of the Memorial area, Rafael is the proud father of three children. When not selling real estate, he manages and plays in an amateur soccer team for Houston Football Association and also for the Westside Tennis Club.

Anita Guerra is a native Houstonian with over twenty-five years of experience in real estate. She worked in the Houston real estate industry for many years before founding Monark Realty with her husband, Rafael, and daughter, Kirsten. Her excellence in service has been recognized by the Houston Association of Realtors as a “Top Producer”, and she has served on the Woodlands Advisory Board. Anita takes pride in her accomplishments and uses her many years of experience to provide exceptional service to her clients.
Organized, energetic, and with an in-depth knowledge of the market, Anita has a proven record of success in representing buyers and sellers in the Houston metropolitan area. Helping relocation clients is a particular strength for Anita. “Having lived in Houston all my life, I can help people make it their home.” Working closely with clients, Anita not only establishes business relationships but also develops long lasting friendships.
A longtime resident of the Memorial area, Anita is a devoted wife and mother of three. She remains active in the community by volunteering with her children’s schools, her church, and is a board member with the ARC of Spring Branch Memorial. Her leisure time is spent with her family and friends enjoying traveling, social gatherings, and fund raising events.

Born and raised in Houston, Kirsten Guerra has an intimate knowledge of the many neighborhoods and school systems in the city. Kirsten left Houston to study communications and Spanish at Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas. After graduating with honors, she pursued pharmaceutical sales for a multinational company in New York and Texas. She quickly established herself as one of the top three sales people for the company in the nation.
She left her position to move back to Houston to help found Monark Realty with her parents, Anita and Rafael Guerra. Leveraging her years of sales experience and familiarity with the city, she offers a perspective few others can provide to someone moving to Houston. Kirsten is dedicated to excellence in assisting her clients and prides herself on repeat business. She ensures a positive experience for her clients, achieved through her understanding of their needs, professionalism, strong work ethic, and her dedication to their satisfaction.
Kirsten stays active in the community by participating in various groups including the St. Cecilia Catholic Church Ladies Club as a board member, Houston Young People for Arts, Young Professionals in Energy Houston Chapter, and National Hispanics Professionals Organization. She enjoys discovering new restaurants across Houston, traveling the world, and spending time with her family.
